SEO Secrets - Don't fall for it
SEO as is, Search Engine Optimization, what means that you optimize your site code to be as optimal as for Google to scan and to view. There's allot of internet marketing techniques to get you listed faster or few techniques to get your site rank higher then your competitors but, don’t fall for your everyday call "I can get you #1 on Google's list!", if some SEO agent told you he do so then something is fishy, something he's doing probably not from the main road of SEO, the consequences in the light scenario you site will be report as SPAM site and you will be "kicked" to the last pages of your relevant keywords, in the worst case scenario your site will be doomed to be outside of Google list, whatever you type no leftovers and no miracles.In my country we use allot of the expression "don’t open your mouth to Satan, he's not a dentist", what basically means don’t play in unknown territory because it could affect you in the very worst way you could imagine.There are too many SEO agents and only few actually have been qualified or even with a nice resume and a nice recommendations from a few customers. Fact; Every SEO steps that you will make, if it's from the WHITE HATS steps you won't see results at-least for two months, but, then you will stay where you ranked for as long as you will nurture your SEO steps.

Choosing the right keywords
In most cases our site is surrounding one main issue, if it's weight loss, games, news, flowers or even cabinets, to let Google know how to find our site we need to put a META TAG – KEYWORDS in our site code so people who type "cabinets" will get to our website.
But in most cases the very first phrase that come up to our mind is the first phrase that comes up to most of our competitors, that's why most of the main phrases will hard to compete to get to #1 on Google because I presume we not the only one who's trying to make some internet marketing techniques.
So what can we do to get to our future customers without working hours and hours to get the main phrase, what we need to do is to focus on other keywords that relate to our main issue without the main keywords, I'll explain;
If we got a site about custom cabinets, the first thing we got in mind is to promote the word "cabinets" but, obviously we not the first and probably not the last who wants to promote that word, we need to get a little less common the just "cabinets" and that's why, first, that word not necessarily will bring us new customers because not all of the people who just typed cabinets lives in your city or even your country and could be just looking for some INFO about cabinets it self, so what we need to do is focus to get new customers and not new viewers, let's try to focus our SEO steps for "long tail" phrases like "cabinets Las Vegas", basically we are focusing on our future customers and not just to get #1 rank on Google.
Now, few facts before we go on, the word "cabinets" is searched in Google on March 2009 5.000.000 times, I know it is allot of new possible viewers but it cannot be new customers when you only have a business website and not some news website and you are working locally, now, the phrase "Las Vegas cabinets" search on March 2000 times, what makes us think more clearly, because:
1. This is our future customers
2. Because it’s a "long tail" phrase it will be easier to promote with our internet marketing techniques
3. Less competitors, less un-local business, less "just looking for some info about cabinets" viewers and more future customers.
Don’t let the big numbers on the search results fool you, if you will be #1 on a word like "cabinets" is just will have to make you work hours and hours (which probably you don’t have consider your actually day job) to promote your site and all this for traffic to your website instead of future customers.
* If you have a website that work on future viewers we will teach later on how to bring traffic to your website without working extra hours on SEO.

Fastest way to get listed
As we talked about many GOOD and BAD ways to promote your website there's always the question "what do I need to do to be listed as fast as I can on Google?" the answer is not complicated as the consequences if you will do it wrong!
First thing first, let's talk about PR so you will understand where I'm going with this, PR = Page Rank, every single page in the web get a rank from Google, the PR depends on backlinks from higher PR websites and for optimized code in your own site. To get high PR is basically to get as much backlinks from your associates in the web, when I say associates I mean other websites with common contents, as much as you can get them the better for Google "eyes", the main reason is real simple, if other websites with similar content links to your site means you are efficient and useful for the viewers, Google is more then just a robot, it is basically showing the exact thing you looked for your exact keyword you typed, the more relevant you are, the more rank and closer to #1 on Google.
Now, to get back to our point with the fast way, if you just opened you website and you want it to be listed on Google in 24 hours you need to get backlink from at least PR of 7 from a website and there you go, on Google within 24 hours.

The Power of Optimization
Usually when businesses hear about the optimization step they think this is the SEO agent to make some fast money from them, its sounds unnecessary and sometimes even unreal.
I won't do any SEO moves before I finish with the optimization, if I will have to loose the customer for this, so be it. I have worked with sites that only had my optimization and had reaching the first page on they're winning keywords without any promotion out the site itself.
To understand internet marketing techniques you will need to know the two basic steps, ONNPAGE and OFFPAGE.
The ONPAGE is basically everything we are doing on the site itself which is basically the optimization itself, fixing the code and making the site code most readable for search engines.
The OFFPAGE is what we do to promote the website over the web, submitting articles, getting backlinks and etc.
There is websites that could make it with out the other but it's always best to let your site be the closest it can get to perfection for the highest percentage of success.

There is more then 500 articles sites for free submitting your articles to go publish, all you need is to get someone professional or your self to write an article about you and your business and go publish it around, I attached a few sites that you can do this, now, you need to understand that the less advertising the article will be the more sites will approve it. Be clean, be professional and objective as you can to get the most you can get.
